As of this morning, January 11, Mariupol port has already handled 157.3 thousand tons of cargo since the beginning of the month. This is reported by ProAgro Group with reference to the information of the company.
As usual, grain cargoes occupy an important share in transshipment. As of today 1.3 thousand tons of corn and 11.5 thousand tons of other crops, as well as 7.7 thousand tons of grist, have been transshipped.
The total volume of cargo handled by Mariupol Sea Trade Port in 2021 was 6.471 mln tons of cargo which is 4% more than the previous year, including 6.057 mln tons of export cargo.
Metal products (4,444 mln tons) and cereals (674,7 thou tons) accounted for the most of all cargo handled in the port.
