During 20 days of the current month Ukrzaliznytsia has loaded 5 970 thousand tons of cargo, 13% of which fall on grains.
During the online meeting with representatives of grain business this information was provided by Valeriy Tkachov, Deputy Director of the Department of Commercial Work of the company, “ProAgro Group” informs with reference to Rail.insider.
So, since the beginning of April, “Ukrzaliznytsia” has loaded 801 thousand tons of grain. This is 116 thousand tons more than in March this year (685 thousand tons). Average daily load indicator was 40 thousand tons.
However, there remains a tendency to reduce the load on weekends. Thus, if on Friday, April 15, the volume was a record for the month, having reached 70.7 thousand tons, the next day it dropped almost twice – to 35.7 thousand tons. On Sunday, April 17, this figure dropped to 13 thousand tons.
At the same time, in 20 days of this month to export 275 thousand tons of grain.
