Since the unblocking of the checkpoint “Yagodyn-Dorohusk”, the number of vehicles waiting in line to leave Ukraine has decreased from 2200 trucks to 321 over the past day. This was reported by Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Mustafa Nayem on his Facebook page, ProAgro Group reports.
“As of 9 am, the queue at the checkpoint has decreased from 42 to 6 kilometers. At the moment, drivers need 1-2 days to leave the country. At the beginning of the month, they had to wait up to 7-10 days,” – Nayem wrote.
He noted that a significant reduction has been observed over the past two days, when up to 600 vehicles leave the checkpoint per shift.
“Significant improvement of the situation became possible due to the opening of the checkpoint “Ustilug-Zosin” for empty vehicles,” – the Deputy Minister explained.
