The government has made a decision aimed at increasing the capacity of the ports of Izmail, Reni and Ust-Dunaisk. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal in his Telegram channel, ProAgro Group reports.
He noted that, among other things, this will increase the safety of navigation on the Danube, in particular the control and maintenance of the declared depths.
“Over the past six months, we have managed to increase the cargo turnover of these ports from 30 thousand tons per month to 1.7 million tons. More than 50 times. And this is not the limit. We are working to further expand their capabilities,” Shmyhal wrote.
