The State Enterprise “Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority” presented an algorithm for weekly planning of vessel processing, in particular, an electronic queue for the approach and processing of vessels heading to the ports of the “big Odesa” grain corridor, ProAgro Group reports with reference to the company’s information on Facebook.
“The introduction of an electronic queue for processing ships in the ports of “big Odesa” is another step towards creating more transparent and comfortable conditions for business,” commented Oleksii Vostrikov, head of the USPA.
It is noted that a similar technology was previously introduced and proved its effectiveness in the Danube ports. However, unlike the Sulinsky Canal, where the electronic queue does not change, changes related to technical nuances, such as the unreadiness of the vessel for inspection, etc. are permissible here. However, on each such occasion, the objective reasons for such rearrangement will be indicated in the electronic queue opposite the vessel.
