With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Kernel’s plant for the production of Stozhar sunflower oil came under occupation in Kharkiv region. Therefore, the company was forced to suspend production and think over the restart mechanism at another asset. This was reported by ProAgro Group with reference to the agricultural holding’s post on Facebook.
“We had to solve problems with raw materials, attract investments in the resumption of production. However, everything was successful, and now “Stozhar” is produced at the plant in Poltava,” the company said.
Kernel also added that the circumstances in which Ukraine has found itself since February this year forced the brand to change not only the geography, but also the appearance.
“Stozhar” has updated its shape, but retained its identity. This is the same oil loved by many Ukrainians with the preservation of all its organoleptic characteristics,” the manufacturer emphasized.
It is noted that Stozhar oil will return to store shelves this fall in a new bottle and will be available in volumes of 0.85, 3 and 5 liters.
