The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine reports that as of December 2, 56 964 agreements within the current land market have been concluded. The total area of land, for which deals were registered, reached 143,881 hectares.
ProAgro Group reports that since July 1, 5,352 notaries have submitted 6,008 applications for access to the State Land Cadastre, of which 5,316 have been approved, 5 more are pending and 683 have been rejected.
The leader in land sales is Kharkiv region – there land plots with a total area of 20 241.6 ha were reissued to new owners. It is almost 5 thousand hectares more than in Kirovograd region, where 15 686.5 ha were sold. On the third position is Dnipropetrovsk region with 12 852.8 hectares. The smallest amount of land was sold in Rivne, Bukovyna and Prykarpattia regions.
