The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine reports that as of December 31, 77 880 agreements within the current land market have been signed. The total area of registered land deals reached 198,480 hectares (as of December 23 – 72,367 deals, 184,862 hectares).
As ProAgro Group informs, for the period since July 1, 5,404 notaries submitted 6,064 applications for access to the State Land Cadastre. 5,372 of these applications were approved and 692 were rejected.
The leader on land sales is Kharkiv region – there land lots with total area of 28 370 hectares were transferred to new owners. It is more than 9 thousand hectares more than in Kirovograd region, which is on the second place with 19 075,6 ha sold. In third place is Dnipropetrovsk region with 17,566.4 ha. The least amount of land was sold in Rivne, Bukovyna and Prykarpattia regions.
