Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine reported updated data on the purchase and sale of agricultural land. Thus, as of July 3, 106 289 transactions within the current land market were concluded, and the total area of land with registered transactions reached 254 130 ha (105 173 transactions for 252 241 ha as of June 26).
ProAgro Group reports that since the land market opened on July 1, 2021, 5,555 notaries have submitted 6,239 applications for access to the State Land Cadastre. 5,480 of these applications have been approved, 755 have been rejected and 4 more are under consideration.
The leader in land sales is Kharkiv region – there land plots with a total area of 37,163.6 hectares were reissued to new owners. It is more than 15 thousand hectares more than in Dnipropetrovsk region, which is in the second place with 21 957.1 ha sold. In third place is Kherson region with 21,026.4 ha. Bukovyna, Zakarpattia and Prykarpattia are the regions that sold the least amount of land.
