The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine reports that as of December 9, 60 658 agreements have been concluded within the current land market. The total area of land, for which deals were registered, reached 154 055 hectares.
ProAgro Group reports that since July 1, 5,368 notaries have submitted 6,027 applications for access to the State Land Cadastre, of which 5,336 have been approved, 2 more are pending and 689 have been rejected.
The leader in land sales is Kharkiv region – there land plots with a total area of 21 826.2 hectares were transferred to new owners. It is 5,4 thousand hectares more than in Kirovograd region, where 16 426.4 ha were sold. The third position is taken by Dnipropetrovsk region with 13,721.4 ha. The least amount of land was sold in Rivne, Bukovyna and Prykarpattia regions.
