Ministry of Agricultural Policy and Food of Ukraine reported updated data on the sale and purchase of agricultural land. Thus, as of June 26, 105 173 agreements within the current land market were concluded, and the total area of land, over which deals were registered, reached 252 241 hectares.
ProAgro Group reports that since the land market opened on July 1, 2021, 5 548 notaries have submitted 6,230 applications for access to the State Land Cadastre, of which 5,475 have been approved and 752 refused and 3 more are under consideration.
The leader in land sales is Kharkiv region – there land plots with a total area of 37 116,3 ha are re-registered to new owners. It is more than 15 thousand hectares more than in Dnipropetrovsk region, which is in the second place with 21 783.3 hectares sold. In third place is Kherson region with 21,026.4 ha. Bukovyna, Zakarpattya and Prykarpattya were the regions with the least amount of land sold.
