The Ministry of Agricultural Policy and Food of Ukraine reports that on December 23, 72 367 agreements within the current land market were concluded. The total area of registered land deals reached 184,862 hectares (169,822 hectares as of December 16).
ProAgro Group reports that since July 1, 5,397 notaries have submitted 6,057 applications for access to the State Land Cadastre. 5,359 of these applications have been approved and 6 more are pending and 692 have been rejected.
The leader in land sales is Kharkiv region – there land plots with a total area of 26 573 hectares were transferred to new owners. It is more than 8 thousand hectares more than in Kirovograd region, which occupies the second place with 18 301,5 ha. The third place is taken by Dnipropetrovsk region with 16,346.2 ha. The smallest amount of land was sold in Rivne, Bukovyna and Prykarpattia regions.
