The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine reports that as of February 10, 94 265 agreements within the the current land market have been signed. The total area of land, in respect of which deals were registered, reached 240 027 hectares.
ProAgro Group reports that since the land market was opened July 1, 2021, 5,463 notaries have submitted 6,127 applications for access to the State Land Cadastre, of which 5,424 have been approved and 702 have been rejected.
The leader in land sales is Kharkiv region – there land plots with a total area of 35,286.3 hectares were reissued to new owners. Kirovograd region is in second place with 22,038.7 hectares sold. In third place is Dnipropetrovsk region with 21,135.5 hectares. The smallest amount of land was sold in Rivne, Bukovyna and Prykarpattia regions.
