The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine has updated data on the purchase and sale of agricultural land. Thus, as of July 18, 108 636 transactions within the current land market were concluded, and the total area of registered land deals reached 258 238 hectares.
ProAgro Group reports that since the land market opened on July 1, 2021, 5,567 notaries have submitted 6,253 applications for access to the State Land Cadastre, of which 5,488 have been approved, 764 have been rejected and 1 more is under consideration.
The leader in land sales is Kharkiv region – there land plots with a total area of 37 256,6 ha are reissued to new owners. It is almost 15 thousand hectares more than in Dnipropetrovsk region, which is in the second place with 22,277.5 ha sold. The third position is still held by Kherson region with 21 026.4 hectares, although no new sales transactions are registered there because of the occupation. And the least amount of land was sold in Bukovyna, Zakarpattya and Prykarpattya.
