Ministry of Agricultural Policy and Food of Ukraine has updated data on the purchase and sale of agricultural land. Thus, as of June 20, 104 162 agreements were concluded within the current land market, and the total area of registered transactions reached 250 582 hectares.
ProAgro Group reports that since the land market opened on July 1, 2021, 5,543 notaries have submitted 6,223 applications for access to the State Land Cadastre, of which 5,468 have been approved and 731 have been refused and 4 more are under consideration.
The leader in land sales is Kharkiv region – there land plots with a total area of 37 066.8 hectares were reissued to new owners. Dnipropetrovsk region is in second place with 21,654.3 hectares. The third place is taken by Kherson region with 21,026.4 hectares. The smallest amount of land was sold in Bukovyna, Zakarpattya and Prykarpattya regions.
