Since the beginning of the full-scale war on February 24, 19,795 transactions for the sale of 34,845 hectares of land have been concluded in Ukraine, including 1477 transactions for 2,832 hectares over the past week. It is reported by “ProAgro Group” with reference to the information of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
The regions with the most active land market during the war (in terms of the number of transactions and the area of land for which transactions were registered) are Poltava (4 thousand hectares), Khmelnytskyi (3.9 thousand hectares), Kirovohrad (3.9 thousand hectares), Vinnytsia (3.8 thousand hectares) and Dnipropetrovsk (3 thousand hectares).
In total, as of September 19, 2022, 120,761 land transactions have been concluded for the entire period of the land market operation. The area of land according to registered transactions reaches 279 371 hectares.
The leaders in terms of land areas for which transactions have been recorded are Kharkiv (37.9 thousand hectares), Dnipropetrovsk (24.3 thousand hectares), Poltava (22.3 thousand hectares), Kirovohrad (22.2 thousand hectares) and Kherson (21 thousand hectares).
During the whole time 5614 notaries have applied for access to the State Land Cadastre. In total, 6313 applications were received from them, of which 5522 were approved, 789 were refused, and 2 more are under consideration.
