The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine reports that as of February 17, 96 618 agreements within the current land market were concluded. The total area of registered land deals reached 251,597 hectares.
ProAgro Group reports that since the land market opened on July 1, 2021, 5,476 notaries have submitted 6,143 applications for access to the State Land Cadastre, of which 5,435 have been approved and 707 refused.
Kharkiv region remains the leader in land sales – there land plots with a total area of 37,044 hectares were reissued to new owners. Dnipropetrovsk region is in second place with 22,948 hectares sold. Kirovograd region is in third place with 22,702.5 hectares. At the same time, the smallest amount of land was sold in Rivne, Bukovyna and Prykarpattia regions – only a little more than 4 thousand hectares.
