The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine for the first time since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russia reported on the dynamics of agricultural land sale and purchase. Thus, as of June 6, 102 321 agreements within the current land market were concluded, and the total area of registered transactions reached 247 260 hectares.
ProAgro Group reports that since the land market opened on July 1, 2021, 5,526 notaries have submitted 6,195 applications for access to the State Land Cadastre, of which 5,458 have been approved and 730 have been refused and 7 more are under consideration.
The leader in land sales is Kharkiv region – there land plots with a total area of 36 977.2 hectares were transferred to new owners. It is almost 15 thousand hectares more than in Dnipropetrovsk region, which occupies the second place with 21 453.3 hectares sold. The third position is held by Kherson region with 21,026.4 hectares. Bukovyna, Zakarpattya and Prykarpattya have the least amount of land sold.
