The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine reports that as of January 21, 82 819 agreements within the current land market have been signed. The total area of land, for which the deals were registered, reached 210 488 hectares.
ProAgro Group reports that since the land market opened on July 1, 2021, 5,431 notaries have submitted 6,093 applications for access to the State Land Cadastre, of which 5,400 have been approved and 693 refused.
Kharkiv region remains the leader in land sales – there land plots with a total area of 30,325.2 hectares were re-registered to new owners. It is more than in Kirovograd region, which is in second place, where 20,126.4 ha were sold. In third place is Dnipropetrovsk region with 18,510.2 ha. And the least amount of land was sold in Rivne region, Bukovyna and Prykarpattya.
