The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine reports that as of February 3, 89 832 agreements within the current land market have been signed. The total area of land, for which deals were registered, reached 228,638 hectares.
ProAgro Group reports that since the land market opened on July 1, 2021, 5,452 notaries have submitted 6,114 applications for access to the State Land Cadastre, of which 5,416 have been approved and 697 have been rejected.
Kharkiv region remains the leader in land sales – there, plots with a total area of 33,096.2 hectares were reissued to new owners. Kirovograd region is in second place with 21,352.7 hectares. Dnipropetrovsk region is in third place with 20,303.2 ha. The least amount of land was sold in Rivne, Bukovyna and Prykarpattia regions.
