In the Kharkiv region, 78% of the areas under grain crops have been threshed, from which agrarians have harvested almost 1.5 million tons of crops, ProAgro Group reports with reference to the post of the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration Oleh Syniehubov in Telegram.
Currently, late crops are being harvested in the region in the Bohodukhiv, Krasnohrad, Lozova, Kharkiv and Chuguev districts. In particular, farms are harvesting sunflower, which has already been harvested 232 thousand tons, as well as soybeans – 25.5 thousand tons.
“This season, farmers plan to harvest 2.2 million tons of grain and leguminous crops. This should satisfy the domestic needs of the Kharkiv region and partially meet the demand for export,” the head of the region noted.
He also reminded that sowing for the harvest of 2023 continues in the Kharkiv region.
