
As of November 24, 2022, the harvesting of grain and leguminous crops in Ukraine was carried out on an area of 9.2 mln ha (82%), ProAgro Group reports with reference to the information of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
With a yield of 43.7 c/ha, 40.1 million tons of grain were harvested, including
- wheat – 19.4 million tons harvested from 4.7 million hectares (100%) with a yield of 41.2 c/ha;
- barley – 5.6 million tons from 1.6 million hectares (100%) with a yield of 35.1 c/ha
- peas – 261 thousand tons from 111.5 thousand hectares (100%) with a yield of 23.4 c/ha;
- corn for grain – 13.5 million tons from 2.2 million hectares (53%) with a yield of 60.1 c/ha
- buckwheat – 156.5 thousand tons from 115 thousand hectares (98%) with a yield of 13.7 c/ha
- millet – 98 thousand tons from 42.6 thousand hectares (95%) with a yield of 23.1 c/ha.
In addition, sunflower was harvested on an area of 4.5 million hectares (96%), 9.8 million tons of seeds were harvested at a yield of 21.7 c / ha; soybeans were harvested on an area of 1.5 million hectares (97%), 3.6 million tons were harvested at a yield of 24.1 c / ha. Rapeseed harvesting was completed on the area of 1.1 million hectares (100%), 3.2 million tons of seeds were harvested at a yield of 28.9 c/ha.
Also, 8.2 million tons of sugar beets were harvested from 166 thousand hectares (93%) with a yield of 495
Agrarians of Mykolaiv and Odesa regions have completed the harvesting of all crops. The largest amount of grain was harvested by agricultural producers of Vinnytsia region – 3.7 million tons of grain. The highest yield of grain and leguminous crops was recorded in Khmelnytsky region – 65.6 c/ha.
