In Vinnytsia region, the corn harvesting campaign starts on time. This was reported by the head of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration Serhii Borzov, “ProAgro Group” reports with reference to the information of the OVA.
“Although in some areas there is currently a slightly increased humidity, but in general, the weather conditions for corn are good. Only in the south of the region, the drought prevented high yields,” – the head of the OBA said.
It is expected that this year’s harvest will be 15-18% lower than last year. Vinnytsia agrarians have already harvested corn for grain on the area of 1.4 thousand hectares (0.4%), threshed 4.6 thousand tons with a yield of 32.9 c/ha (in 2021 – 93.7 c/ha).
