Bunge closes offices in Ukraine and stops operation of two oil plants

Global agricultural commodities trader Bunge Ltd said Thursday it has closed its offices in Ukraine, ProAgro Group reported.

The company also temporarily halted operations at two oilseeds processing plants in Mykolaiv and Dnipro after a Russian military invasion.

Bunge employs more than 1,000 people in Ukraine. The company owns and operates elevators, an export terminal and a corn processing plant through a joint venture, Bunge said.
