Crop harvesting in Ukraine reached the finish line

The harvesting of grain and leguminous crops is coming to the end in Ukraine. Harvesting has been carried out on the area of 14.5 million hectares at an average yield of 50.8 c/ha, 73.4 million tons of grain have been threshed, ProAgroGroup informs with reference to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.

It is noted that the leaders in threshing are Vinnytsia oblast, where almost 5.5 million tons of grain were threshed, Odessa oblast – 5 million tons, Chernihiv oblast – 4.9 million tons, and Khmelnytskiy oblast by yield with an indicator of 77 c/ha.

28.1 million tons of corn were threshed on the area of 4 million hectares (73% across Ukraine) at a yield of 70.5 centners per hectare. Agrarians of Volyn, Donetsk, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions have finished its harvesting, and the highest yield is observed in Khmelnytsky region – 110.1 c/ha.

Buckwheat harvesting is almost completed. It was threshed on the area of 83.3 thousand hectares (99% across Ukraine), 110 tons of grain were threshed at the yield of 13.2 centners/hectare. Its highest yield was registered in Vinnytsia oblast – 15.9 c/ha. The harvesting of millet has also been completed. It was threshed on the area of 77.7 thousand hectares (100% across Ukraine), having reached 184.7 tons, with a yield of 23.8 c/ha.

Sunflower was harvested from the area of 6.4 million hectares (98% across Ukraine) with the yield of 24.5 c/ha, 15.6 million tons of sunflower seeds were threshed. Soybean was harvested from an area of nearly 1.3 million hectares (99% across Ukraine), the yield being 26.4 centners/hectare and more than 3.3 million tons of oil beans threshed.
