As of June 10, 47 471 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops have been exported from Ukraine since the beginning of 2021/22 MY (July-June). This is reported by “ProAgro Group” with reference to the information of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
According to the State Customs Service, the current volume of grain exports is more than 4.5 million tons more than last season.
Wheat shipments on the reporting date amounted to 18,626 thousand tons, which is 2,513 thousand tons more than in 2020/21 MY. Barley was shipped abroad in the amount of 5,726 thousand tons, an increase of 1,580 thousand tons. There were exported 161.5 thousand tons of rye against 8.3 thousand tons in the previous season. Deliveries of corn abroad totaled 22,659 thousand tons, which is 679 thousand tons more than the previous season.
In addition, 69.5 thousand tons of cereal flour (including 68.1 thousand tons of wheat flour) were exported on the reporting date, which is 46.7 tons less than the corresponding index of the previous season.
Since the beginning of this month, grain exports amounted to 372 thousand tons, including wheat – 28 thousand tons, barley – 10 thousand tons, corn – 332 thousand tons. Export of flour reached 600 tons.
