As of October 13, 15 945 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops have been exported from Ukraine since the beginning of 2021/22 (July-June). This is reported by “ProAgro Group” with reference to the information of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
According to the State Customs Service, the current volume of grain exports is by 2,716 thousand tons more than last year on the same date. Wheat shipments on the reporting date amounted to 10 202 thousand tons, which is 940 thousand tons more than last year. Exports of barley amounted to 3,973 thousand tons, which is 912 thousand tons more. 51.5 thousand tons of rye were exported against 1.7 thousand tons for the same period last season. Exports of corn amounted to 1,537 thousand tons, which is 679 thousand tons more than a year earlier.
In addition, 38.8 thousand tons of cereal flour (including 38.4 thousand tons of wheat flour) were exported on the reporting date, which is 17.1 thousand tons less than the corresponding figure of the previous season.
Since the beginning of this month, grain exports amounted to 1 581 thousand tons, including wheat – 1 264 thousand tons, barley – 193 thousand tons, rye – 8.9 thousand tons, corn – 107 thousand tons.
