As of February 9, 39 898 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops have been exported from Ukraine since the beginning of 2021/22 MY (July-June). This is reported by “ProAgro Group” with reference to the information of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
According to the State Customs Service, the current volume of grain exports exceeds the level of last year on the same date by 10,065 thousand tons.
Wheat shipments on the reporting date amounted to 17 341 thousand tons, which is 4 184 thousand tons more than last year. Barley was shipped abroad in the amount of 5 515 thousand tons, which is 1 560 thousand tons more. There were exported 157.5 thousand tons of rye against 1.7 thousand tons for the same period last season. Exports of corn amounted to 16,617 thousand tons, which is 4,408 thousand tons more than a year earlier.
In addition, 64.4 thousand tons of cereal flour (including 63.3 thousand tons of wheat flour) were exported on the reporting date, 24.4 thousand tons less than the corresponding index of the previous season.
Since the beginning of this month, grain exports amounted to 1 428 thousand tons, including wheat – 290 thousand tons, barley – 33 thousand tons, rye – 1 thousand tons, corn – 1 099 thousand tons. Export of flour is 0.9 thousand tons.
