Harvesting of late crops continues in Rivne region

The harvesting of late crops continues in the Rivne region, although prolonged rains in recent weeks have somewhat slowed down autumn field work. This was reported in his Telegram channel by the head of the Rivne Regional State Administration Vitalii Koval, “ProAgro Group”.

In particular, now the agrarians of the region have threshed

buckwheat – 2 thousand hectares (41% of the forecast), yield – 10.5 c / ha;
sunflower – 4.5 thousand hectares (8% of the forecast), yield – 18 c/ha.

Also, they have begun harvesting corn for grain, the current yield is 61 c / ha, and threshing of soybeans, which this year yields 22 c / ha.

In addition, the sugar beet harvesting continues in the region – 1.8 thousand hectares have already been dug up with a yield of 505 c/ha, the harvesting of vegetable crops continues and the potato harvesting is almost completed (80% of the planted area).

As for the sowing campaign, Rivne agrarians have already finished sowing winter rape, but have started sowing winter wheat, winter barley and winter rye.
