Khmelnytsky region started to harvest soybeans and sunflowers

As of September 29 agrarians of Khmelnytsky oblast threshed sunflower from the area of 7.4 thousand hectares (5% of forecast), the average yield is 34.1 c/ha, which is the same as last year. The soybean is harvested from the area of 5.1 thousand hectares (4% of sown areas), yield is 31.8 c/ha.

It is reported by “ProAgroGroup” with reference to the data of the Department of Agricultural Complex and Land Relations of Khmelnytskyi Oblast State Administration.

From the area of 2.7 thousand hectares (9%) sugar beet was harvested, the average yield of culture is 450 c/ha.

Meanwhile, winter rape was sown on the area of 72.2 thousand hectares. Winter wheat is sown on an the area of 23,1 thousand hectares, which is 11% of the planned volume. Winter barley has been sown on the area of 0.65 thousand hectares (5%). Soil preparation for sowing of winter crops is under way. Works are carried out on 82% of the area.
