In Zhytomyr region there was detected an unauthorized seizure of radioactively contaminated land where crops were grown. This is reported by the “ProAgro Group” with reference to the information of the regional department of the State Geo-Kadastr.
The department noted that the matter concerns 159.6 hectares of agricultural land in the Naroditsk territorial community.
“These land plots are a zone of radioactively contaminated territory due to the Chernobyl disaster,” – informed the department.
The state inspector drew up materials of administrative violation. Calculated damages for unauthorized occupation of the land plot amounts to UAH 411.1 thousand.
