Poland organizes “dry port” for export of Ukrainian agricultural products

Poland is now working on the creation of a “dry port” on the border with Ukraine to increase the capacity of transport for the export of Ukrainian agricultural products, particularly in third countries.

This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Republic of Poland Henryk Kowalczyk, reports “ProAgro Group” referring to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.

On the eve there was a discussion of issues related to the establishment of uninterrupted shipments of agri-food products from Ukraine to traditional export-dependent markets, as well as the issue of finding alternative logistical ways of sending them through the transit corridors through the EU.

“We thank our Polish colleagues for their comprehensive support in the establishment of transit of Ukrainian agricultural products to the EU,” said Minister of Agrarian Policy Mykola Solskyy.
