The total volume of cargo handling of the specialized sea port Olvia according to the results of port operators’ work for 10 months of 2021 reached the mark of 3.8 million tons of cargo. This figure is 417.45 thousand tons or 12.3% more than during the same period last year.
This is reported by ProAgro Group with reference to the Administration of Sea Ports of Ukraine.
In general, in January-October 2021, the distribution of cargoes was as follows: export – 3.38 million tons (+11.8%), import – 125.53 thousand tons (-58.6%), coastal cargo – 283.4 thousand tons (up in 5.8 times), transit – 0.52 thousand tons (-83.0%).
During 10 months of 2021 it handled 3.34 mln tons of bulk cargo (+11.0%). Grain cargo was processed at the level of 2.03 mln tons (+24.7%).
