As of August 5, 1867 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops have been exported from Ukraine since the beginning of 2022/23 MY (July-June). This is reported by “ProAgro Group” with reference to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
According to the State Customs Service, the current volume of grain exports is almost 1.8 million tons less than last season.
The supplies of wheat on the reporting date amounted to 444 thousand tons, which is 806 thousand tons less than in 2021/22 MY. Barley was shipped abroad in the amount of 165 thousand tons, which is 1,147 thousand tons less. Deliveries of corn abroad are 1249 thousand tons, which is 200 thousand tons more than the previous season. Deliveries of rye in the current season have not yet been completed.
In addition, 4.7 thousand tons of flour of cereals (including 3.9 thousand tons of wheat) were delivered abroad on the reporting date, which is 8.8 thousand tons less than the corresponding index of the previous season.
Since the beginning of this month, grain exports amounted to 254 thousand tons, including wheat – 83 thousand tons, barley – 23 thousand tons, corn – 147 thousand tons. Export of flour is 0.7 thousand tons.
