Agrarians of Poltava region have sown almost 92 thousand hectares of early crops. This is reported by the head of the Poltava regional military administration Dmitry Lunin, informs “ProAgro Group” with reference to the information of the regional administration.
“In Poltava region completed the sowing of early grain crops. Sowed 100% of the planned areas – almost 92 thousand hectares. Of which about 4 thousand hectares of spring wheat, more than 78 thousand hectares of spring barley, 7,5 thousand hectares of peas and 2 thousand hectares of oats. Also at the final stage of sowing is sugar beet – almost 90% of the plan”, – said Dmytro Lunin.
The head of the region added that Poltava region had already begun sowing sunflower and corn. In particular, sunflower has already been sown 13% of the planned and corn – 6.8%.
