Despite the Russian aggression Ternopil agrarians have already sown 100% of the forecasted areas. This year the region has increased the sown areas of some crops.
They are grain, leguminous and other crops, “ProAgro Group” reports referring to the Internet edition Oblast-Te.
So, out of the planned 561.7 thousand hectares of sown area, 564.1 thousand hectares have been sown today, which is more than 100%.
In particular, it was possible to sow spring cereals and legumes at 101%, spring legumes at 127% and other cereals at 100%.
Ternopil region will be able to provide food not only to the region, but also to the regions where the sowing campaign failed.
