As of December 2, Ukraine has exported 18.082 thsd tonnes of grain and leguminous crops since the beginning of 2022/23 MY (July-June). This is reported by ProAgro Group with reference to the information of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
According to the State Customs Service, the current volume of grain exports is 7.7 million tons less than last season.
Wheat supplies as of the reporting date amounted to 6 867 thsd tonnes, down 7.7 mln tonnes compared to 2021/22 MY. Barley was shipped abroad 1 480 thsd tonnes, down 3.5 mln tonnes. Corn supplies abroad amounted to 9 622 thsd tonnes, which is almost 3.7 mln tonnes more than a season earlier. Also, 12 thousand tons of rye were supplied abroad against 82.6 thousand tons at the same date last season.
In addition, 56.3 thousand tons of grain flour (including 53.2 thousand tons of wheat) have been exported, which is 3.9 thousand tons more than in the previous season. Prior to this, the pace of flour exports lagged behind last year’s figures.
