Turkey accused of buying stolen Ukrainian grain from Russians

Ukraine’s ambassador to Ankara said on Friday that Turkey is one of the countries that buys Ukrainian grain stolen by the Russians.

ProAgro Group reports this, citing Reuters.

“Ambassador Vasyl Bodnar also told reporters that he has sought the help of Turkish authorities and Interpol to investigate who was involved in the grain shipments transiting Turkish waters,” the agency noted.

Reuters did not provide other details.

Earlier, accusations of buying Ukrainian grain stolen by the Rashists in the occupied territories were related only to Syria. Thus, it was reported that the Russian bulk carrier Matsros Pozynich, which can carry 30,000 tons of cargo, arrived twice in May with Ukrainian grain in the Syrian port of Latakia.
