As of November 12, 21 491 tons of grain and leguminous crops have been exported from Ukraine since the beginning of 2021/22 MY (July-June). This is reported by ProAgroGroup with reference to the information of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
According to the State Customs Service, the current volume of grain exports is by 3,015 thousand tons more than last year on a corresponding date.
Wheat shipments on the reporting date amounted to 13 110 thousand tons, which is 1 887 thousand tons more than last year. 4 625 thousand tons of barley was shipped abroad, which is 1 148 thousand tons more. Rye was exported in amount of 71.5 thousand tons against 1.7 thousand tons for the same period last season. Deliveries of corn abroad amounted to 3,480 thousand tons, which is 52 thousand tons more than a year earlier.
In addition, 46.1 thousand tons of cereal flour (including 45.6 thousand tons of wheat flour) were exported on the reporting date, which is 18.6 thousand tons less than the corresponding index of the previous season.
Since the beginning of this month, grain exports amounted to 2 046 thousand tons, including wheat – 757 thousand tons, barley – 108 thousand tons, rye – 16 thousand tons, corn – 1 155 thousand tons.
