As of December 3, 25 774 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops have been exported from Ukraine since the beginning of 2021/22 MY (July-June). This is reported by ProAgro Group with reference to the information of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
According to the State Customs Service, the current volume of grain exports is 3,655 thousand tons more than last year on a similar date.
Wheat shipments on the reporting date amounted to 14 575 thousand tons, which is 2 554 thousand tons more than the previous year. 4,965 thousand tons of barley were shipped abroad, which is 1,260 thousand tons more than last year. 82.6 thousand tons of rye were exported against 1.7 thousand tons for the same period last season. Deliveries of corn abroad amount to 5,934 thousand tons, which is 94 thousand tons less than a year earlier.
In addition, 52.9 thousand tons of cereal flour (including 52.1 thousand tons of wheat flour) were exported on the reporting date, which is 17.6 thousand tons less than the corresponding index of the previous season.
Since the beginning of this month, 512 thousand tons of grain have been exported, including wheat – 52 thousand tons, barley – 23 thousand tons, rye – 5.2 thousand tons and corn – 245 thousand tons.
