Despite the war and constant shelling of energy infrastructure, Ukraine continues to export agricultural products and ensure food security of the world, ProAgro Group reports with reference to the message of the Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy of the Verkhovna Rada on Facebook.
Thus, according to the Ministry of Economy, in November 2022, exports of agricultural products amounted to 7.2 million tons, crossing the mark of 7 million tons for the first time during the war. This figure is almost the same as in January 2022, when agricultural exports reached 7.8 million tons.
The leaders of exports are traditional crops: corn (2.5 million tons), wheat (1.76 million tons), rapeseed (529 thousand tons), sunflower oil (483 thousand tons – an increase of 28 thousand tons compared to October), sunflower seeds (398 thousand tons), soybeans (384 thousand tons).
