As of January 6, from the beginning of 2021/22 MY (July-June) Ukraine exported 33,198 tons of grain and leguminous crops. This is reported by ProAgro Group with reference to the information of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
According to the State Customs Service, the current volume of grain exports is 6,791 thousand tons more than last year on the same date.
Wheat shipments on the reporting date amounted to 16 102 thousand tons, which is 3 596 thousand tons more than last year. Barley was shipped abroad in the amount of 5 196 thousand tons, which is 1 420 thousand tons more. 121.5 thousand tons of rye was exported against 1.7 thousand tons for the same period last season. Exports of corn amounted to 11,536 thousand tons, which is 1,805 thousand tons more than a year earlier.
In addition, 59.6 thousand tons of cereal flour (including 58.7 thousand tons of wheat flour) were delivered abroad on the reporting date, which is 19.9 thousand tons less than the corresponding index of the previous season.
Since the beginning of 2022, grain exports amounted to 725 thousand tons, including wheat – 200 thousand tons, rye – 0.2 thousand tons, corn – 522 thousand tons.
