In the new 2022/23 marketing year, which began July 1, Ukraine exported 598 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops. This is reported by “ProAgro Group” with reference to the information of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
According to the State Customs Service on July 15, the current volume of grain exports is 328 thousand tons less than on the same date of the previous season 2020/21.
Wheat shipments now amounted to 119 thousand tons, which is 129 thousand tons less than in 2020/21 MY. Barley shipments abroad reached 40 thousand tons, down 140 thousand tons. There have been no shipments of rye yet, although last season there were already exported 3.5 thousand tons of grain. Export of corn is 435 thousand tons, which is 53 thousand tons less than the previous season.
In addition, 1.7 thousand tons of flour of cereals (including 1.4 thousand tons of wheat) were exported, which is 4.4 thousand tons less than the corresponding index of the previous season.
