As of December 31, 32 199 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops have been exported from Ukraine since the beginning of 2021/22 (July-June). This is reported by ProAgro Group with reference to the information of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
According to the State Customs Service, the current volume of grain exports is 6,135 thousand tons more than last year on a similar date.
Wheat shipments on the reporting date amounted to 15,819 thousand tons, which is 3,330 thousand tons more than last year. Exports of barley amounted to 5 196 thousand tons, which is 1 420 thousand tons more. 121.3 thousand tons of rye were exported against 1.7 thousand tons for the same period last season.
Exports of corn amounted to 10,824 thousand tons, which is 1,417 thousand tons more than a year earlier. In addition, 59.3 thousand tons of cereal flour (including 58.4 thousand tons of wheat flour) were exported on the reporting date, which is 19.8 thousand tons less than the corresponding index of the previous season.
In December, grain exports amounted to 6 103 thousand tons, including wheat – 1 091 thousand tons, barley – 244 thousand tons, rye – 40.7 thousand tons, corn – 4 707 thousand tons.
