As of November 21, Ukraine has exported 16.239 thsd tonnes of grain and leguminous crops since the beginning of 2022/23 MY (July-June). This is reported by ProAgro Group with reference to the information of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
According to the State Customs Service, the current volume of grain exports is 7.5 million tons less than last season.
Wheat supplies as of the reporting date totaled 6 280 thsd tonnes, down 7.7 mln tonnes compared to 2021/22 MY. Barley was shipped abroad in the amount of 1 337 thsd tonnes, down 6.5 mln tonnes. Corn supplies abroad amounted to 8 553 thsd tonnes, which is almost 4 mln tonnes more than a season earlier. Also, 11.3 thousand tons of rye were supplied abroad against 76.5 thousand tons on the same date last season.
In addition, 48.3 thousand tons of grain flour (including 45.3 thousand tons of wheat) have been exported, which is 0.9 thousand tons less than the corresponding figure of the previous season.
Since the beginning of this month, grain exports amounted to 3 036 thousand tons, including wheat – 1 282 thousand tons, barley – 231 thousand tons, rye – 5 thousand tons, corn – 1 502 thousand tons. Flour exports amounted to 10.2 thousand tons.
