As of October 22, 17 466 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops have been exported from Ukraine since the beginning of 2021/22 MY (July-June). This is reported by “ProAgro Group” with reference to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
According to the State Customs Service, the current volume of grain exports is by 2,666 thousand tons more than last year on the same date.
Wheat shipments on the reporting date amounted to 11 320 thousand tons, which is 1 276 thousand tons more than last year. There were shipped abroad 4152 thousand tons of barley, which is 853 thousand tons higher. 53.9 thousand tons of rye was exported against 1.7 thousand tons for the same period last season. Exports of corn amounted to 1.753 thousand tons, which is 350 thousand tons more than a year earlier.
In addition, 40.2 thousand tons of cereal flour (including 39.8 thousand tons of wheat flour) were exported on the reporting date, which is 18.8 thousand tons less than the corresponding figure for the previous season.
Since the beginning of this month, grain exports amounted to 3 102 thousand tons, including wheat – 2 382 thousand tons, barley – 372 thousand tons, rye – 11.3 thousand tons and corn – 323 thousand tons.
