The State Consumer Service of Ukraine has sent a letter to the Directorate General for Health and Food Safety of the European Commission addressing the possibility to consider exporting Ukrainian potatoes to the European Union, ProAgro Group reports.
Now the question of the necessity to appoint an expert inspection in 2022 to open the export of Ukrainian potatoes to the EU is being discussed with European colleagues.
The task of the State Consumer Service is to overcome technical barriers to trade and ensure state guarantees for compliance with the requirements of exporting countries.
