During the first three months of 2021/22 MY, from September to November, export of sunflower oil from Ukraine amounted to 1.35 million tons, which is lower than the volume of supplies during the same period last year, when it was 1.59 million tons.
This is reported by ProAgro Group, citing information from Oilworld.ru.
The main supplies were to India, which is still the largest importer of Ukrainian sunflower oil. However, in the period from September to November 2021, import of sunflower oil from Ukraine to India decreased to 413 thousand tons, compared to 466 thousand tons in the same period last year.
But most of all the oil exports to China has decreased – it reached 252.3 thousand tons against 503.5 thousand tons in the same period last year.
At the same time, the volume of sunflower oil exports to the EU increased to 409.7 thousand tons, which is higher than 320.7 thousand tons in the same period last year.
