Ukraine will complete the spring sowing campaign by the end of this month

According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, Ukraine as of May 26 has sown spring grain and oilseeds crops nearly 11.36 million hectares, which is nearly 74% of the areas under spring grain and oilseeds in 2021.

This is reported by ProAgro Group with reference to Ukrainian Grain Association.

The planned areas under spring crops and oilseeds this year will approximately amount to 11.45 million hectares, which is 3.5-4 million hectares less than last year, due to Russia’s war against Ukraine, the occupation of territories and mine clearance.

The spring sowing campaign in Ukraine is scheduled to be completed by the end of this month.
