Ukraine’s exports of crop products in 2021 reached $15.55 billion.

The highest volume of Ukraine’s exports in 2021 accounts for products of metallurgy and agrarian sector, while most of the domestic production sectors show a significant increase compared to the indicators of 2020. This is reported by ProAgro Group with reference to the information of the Ministry of Economy.

According to the results of the year, exports of non-precious metals and products made of them amounted to $15.98 billion, which is 77% more than in 2020, and products of plant origin – $15.55 billion, or 30.9% more than in 2020.

The five largest exports are mineral products ($8.42 billion, up 58%), animal and vegetable fats and oils ($7.05 billion, up 22.6%), and mechanical, electrical, machinery and equipment ($4.82 billion, up 7.4% over the previous period).

Good results are shown by domestic exporters of finished food products ($3.8 billion, up 13.1%), products of chemical and related industries ($2.76 billion, up 36.7%), wood and wood products ($2.01 billion, up 42.6% compared to 2020).

Total exports of goods from Ukraine in 2021 amounts to $68.24 billion. This figure is the largest since 2012. The previous indicators of such level Ukraine had in 2011 ($68.39 billion) and in 2012 ($68.81 billion).
